Artist book by Tatsuya Sugimoto.

At the entrance of a building, he collected one step of a soup recipe from nine people. Each step was assigned to the elevator halls on the 1st through 9th floors, following the stops of the staff elevator.

The title of the book is taken from a remark by Maman who never tasted the soup. Fragmented instructions, floors functioning as discrete units, and a device whose vertical motion slowly mixes its contents. What appears is only the taste of a soup that does not exist and the minimal traces left by those who passed through the building.
